Window glass replacement · Nepean
Nepean covers established neighbourhoods with many different window styles, from Centrepointe and Craig Henry to Bells Corners, Trend-Arlington and the Merivale corridor. CGR checks whether the failed part is the glass unit or the frame, then replaces the glass only when the existing window can remain. At-home measurement is free in Nepean.
Glass replacement, frame kept
If the glass in your window has cracked or fogged up, you may not need a full window replacement. Send a quote request or call us to discuss replacing the glass while keeping a sound window frame.
Nepean homes include aluminum sliders, wood windows, vinyl casements and newer replacement systems. A foggy or cracked pane does not reveal the frame condition by itself, so we assess the sash and frame before recommending a glass-only replacement.
Failed thermos units with fog or condensation between the panes, single panes in older windows, glass cracked by an impact or a cold snap, and sliding patio door glass including large tempered panels. Every unit is manufactured to your window's exact measurements.
Send a quote request online or call us. We review the project and arrange a visit to your Nepean home when exact measurements are needed. We inspect the glass, spacer, frame and access before providing a clear quote. Installation is scheduled after the custom unit has been manufactured.
A shattered pane that leaves your home open is a different problem — that is our 24/7 emergency service. We come out day or night, secure and board up the opening, then replace the glass as soon as the new unit arrives.
Service is available in Centrepointe, Craig Henry, Trend-Arlington, Bells Corners, City View and along the Merivale corridor. We also accept requests from Barrhaven and central Ottawa; include the service address when requesting a quote.
Yes. We come to your home, measure, and quote at no charge. You only decide after seeing the exact price.
A compatible unit can often be custom manufactured after we verify the exact dimensions, thickness, spacer and sash condition. We confirm compatibility before preparing the final quote.
The measurement comes first, followed by custom manufacturing and a scheduled installation. Timing depends on the glass specification and current manufacturing lead time, which we confirm with the quote.
